Blackwood Homes and Care
Victor Agboola is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in care management, customer service, and student recruitment. Currently serving as Duty Officer at Blackwood Homes and Care since September 2020, Victor leads a team to deliver personalized care to customers and ensures the effective operation of the service. Previous roles include Support Worker at Blackwood, Customer Advisor at River Island, and Student Recruitment Manager at Navitas, where Victor developed relationships to facilitate student recruitment across multiple countries. Victor holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sustainable Construction from Robert Gordon University and has an extensive academic background, including a Master of Science in International Management and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Northampton.

Blackwood was founded in 1972 by Dr Margaret Blackwood MBE, a campaigner for the rights and independence of disabled people. We deliver our vision of helping people live their life to the full in the pioneering spirit of Dr Blackwood by providing high quality housing, care and support for disabled people of all ages, with over 1600 homes across all 29 mainland local authorities in Scotland. Our investment in innovation aims to develop a new standard for accessible homes, combining technology, modern construction and engagement with people who live with a disability, to co-design and produce beautiful, affordable, connected homes.
