Mario Covo

Mario Covo is the current Director at Bladex. Mario has worked in the financial industry for over 25 years. Prior to their current position, they were the Managing Partner at Helios Advisors, an alternative asset management firm focused on energy and power, oil and gas, precious metals, mining, transportation, and construction. Mario was also the Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Finaccess International, an asset management firm that was sold in 2009. Mario has a long history of success in the financial industry and is an expert in Latin American Merchant Banking.

Mario Covo has a PhD in Economics from Rice University, a BA in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, and a high school diploma from ASF.
