Paco Vela Prieto possesses over thirty-three years of comprehensive experience in the construction and maintenance sectors, specifically within the petrochemical, refinery, and power industries. Currently serving as a Contractor rig-up welder at Blakely Construction Co since October 2017, Paco has a diverse background that includes roles such as rig-up welder fabricator, pipe fitter, field supervisor, and field superintendent at VELA'S Welding, where ongoing work has been conducted since January 1983. Previous positions include roles at NTACT Operations, Saulsbury Industries, C.Rios Welding, Troy Construction and Pipeline, and others, with responsibilities ranging from pipe fabrication to field supervision and code welding. Educational credentials include a GED from Presidio High School and attendance at Odessa College from 1993 to 1994.
