David M. Valdez currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Director, and head of the Tenant Representation Practice at Blanca Commercial Real Estate since November 2018. Under Valdez's leadership, Blanca Commercial has maintained a ~40% share of the commercial property lease transactions market in Miami Dade, establishing the firm as the leading brokerage in South Florida. Prior to this role, Valdez held the position of Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included co-managing real estate transactions and strategy for a portfolio of ~110 leases across ~14 million square feet of office and special-use space in the Americas. Valdez's earlier experience includes significant roles at CB Richard Ellis as First Vice President and Managing Director, advising major clients such as Lehman Brothers, and as a Broker at Codina Bush Group in Miami Dade. Valdez's professional foundation began as Assistant to the President at Carrier Corporation. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Whitman College, and a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School.
