Magnus Rydberg has diverse work experience across various industries. Magnus started their career as a Freelance Teacher at Berlitz International Sweden AB, where they taught Swedish as a foreign language to adult professionals. Magnus then moved on to work at Accenture as a Customer Service Representative, dealing with retail chains purchasing electronics hardware.
In 2010, Magnus joined Concur as a Market Development Representative and later took on the role of Configuration Specialist, delivering configuration solutions for Concur Expense based on client requirements. Magnus also worked as a Client Support Representative during their time at Concur.
Afterwards, Magnus worked at ADP as a Client Service Representative before becoming a Freelance Translator in 2011. Magnus also had a brief stint at Concur as a Configuration Specialist.
From 2012 to 2015, Magnus served as a Configuration Specialist at Concur, focusing on scoping, setting expectations, and testing configuration changes for Concur Expense.
In 2018, Magnus joined SAP Ariba as a Technical Implementation Lead, where they took responsibility for the technical stream of downstream deployment projects, including customizing the cloud solution to meet customer requirements.
From 2019 to 2020, Magnus worked as an Independent Software Tester, before joining Creditinfo Group in 2020 as a Software Tester. In this role, they focused on manual testing of UI bugs and testing new changes to web services using Soap UI. Magnus also initiated a long-term project to automate web services testing with Postman and Newman.
Currently, Magnus is working as a Test Engineer at Blancco Technology Group, starting in 2021.
Magnus Rydberg began their education in 1990 at the University of Gothenburg, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Media and Communication Studies in 1999. In 2000, they attended the International TEFL College of Ireland and received a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification. Shortly after, in 2005, Magnus pursued an advanced vocational education in International Project Coordinator at Sensus Education, which they completed in 2007.
From 2015 to 2016, Magnus attended Prague City University, earning a Professional Diploma in Website Design and Development with a focus on Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design. Following this, they engaged in various language training courses, including Finnish as a Foreign Language at the Community College of the Joensuu Area in 2016 and Finnish Language Training at the North Karelia municipal education and training consortium, University of Eastern Finland, and proserv.fi, each in different years from 2016 to 2018.
In 2016, Magnus also pursued Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. Magnus'spursuit of knowledge continued in 2019 with certifications in Automated Software Testing With Python, The Modern Python 3 Bootcamp, and Kotlin for Beginners: Learn Programming With Kotlin, all obtained from Udemy. In 2016, Magnus also obtained a certification in Learn the Linux Command Line: The Basics from Lynda.com, and in 2001, they received a TEFL certification again, this time from International TEFL College of Ireland.
