Myron Lewis

President & CEO at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center

Myron Lewis is the current President & CEO at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center. Prior to this, they worked at Community Health Network from August 2013 to October 2015, where they were the Network Executive Leader. In this role, they were responsible for regional operations of Community Hospital East and executive lead over $175 million new hospital construction project. From June 1, 2014, they also served as Interim President and CEO of Community Howard Regional Health (CHRH). In this role, they provided strategic leadership, operational oversight and direction for the region.

Some key accomplishments during their time at Community Health Network include leading the hospital financial turn-around from a -9.51% in 2013 to 3.1% positive margin in 2014, renegotiating the anesthesia agreement to reduce cost and increase accountability, optimizing the revenue cycle (charge capture), and reducing FTE’s by 12% through elimination of duplication and alignment with system resources. Myron also established a 5 year capital plan and a 10 year facility master plan, as well as a strategic plan to grow marketshare and maintain financial stability. During their time as Vice President Neuroscience for Community Health Network, they established neuroscience strategy for 6 hospital regions.

Myron Lewis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Additionally, they have a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Western Michigan University.
