Kate Klemp

Kate Klemp is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development, marketing, and community relations across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Blandford Nature Center since March 2024, Kate focuses on restoring annual fund operations and establishing major donor relationships. Previously, roles included Marketing & Communications Manager at Wolverine Building Group and Annual Giving & Donor Relations Manager at Cherry Health, showcasing expertise in donor relations and fundraising. Additional experience includes positions at Downtown Market Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Symphony, Tulip Time Festival, Kuyper College, Trinity Reformed Church, RiverTown Crossings Mall, and Clear Channel Broadcasting, providing a strong foundation in community engagement, program development, and corporate sponsorships. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Journalism from Western Michigan University.
