Chief Technology Officer at Blank Rome

Frank Gurforlino is the Chief Technology Officer for Blank Rome LLP and has been working with the Firm for nearly 20 years. Frank provides leadership to the network infrastructure, telecommunication, virtualization, and security teams in the design, implementation, and secure operation of the Firm’s enterprise network infrastructure and computing platforms.

Frank has over 30 years of experience in the design, implementation, and management of secure, heterogeneous technology solutions. Prior to joining the Firm, he was the founder and CEO of Capitol Integration and Consulting Incorporated, a systems integration company with offices in the United States Mid-Atlantic region. Capitol Integration was acquired in the early 90s and later became part of one of the world’s top ten public defense contractors. Before Capitol Integration and Consulting, Frank was an employee of the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. (House Information Systems), where he was responsible for the implementation of network systems in Member and Committee offices and played an integral role in the evaluation, acceptance, and proliferation of networking technologies on Capitol Hill.

Frank graduated with a B.S. degree from the University of Maryland in Information Systems Management, studied Communications and LANs through the New York University’s continuing education program, and maintains a myriad of industry certifications, both technical and instructional.
