Brandice Nelson, MA, EMPL, currently serves as the Grants and Stewardship Manager at the Blanton Museum of Art since April 2024 and is a Co-Founder of Warp And Weft History since August 2020. Previous roles include Development Manager at Texan by Nature from February 2023 to March 2024, Director of Engagement at National History Day from September 2021 to August 2022, and Curator of the Map Collection at the Texas General Land Office from August 2017 to June 2021. Brandice has also held positions as the Heart of Texas Regional History Fair Coordinator and Baylor Libraries Map Curator at Baylor University, as well as various roles at Historic Waco Foundation and the Smithsonian Institution. Brandice holds an Executive Master in Public Leadership from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from Baylor University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Pre-law concentration from Baylor University.
