Lisa Dirks is an experienced art professional with a strong background in exhibition management, marketing, and graphic design. Currently serving as the Registrar at the Blanton Museum of Art since September 2015, Lisa is responsible for the protection and maintenance of the museum's art collection, overseeing notable exhibitions and assisting with the permanent collection. Prior roles include Marketing Coordinator at the Texas School for the Deaf Foundation and The Miracle Foundation, where Lisa enhanced branding through graphic design and content messaging. Previous positions at the Austin Museum of Art included Associate Director of Exhibitions and Associate Director of Publications, where extensive experience in managing exhibitions and publications was gained. Early career highlights include work as Design Administrator at Reese Design Limited and Coordinator of Traveling Exhibitions at the International Center of Photography, contributing to significant exhibitions and logistical coordination. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Art History from The University of Texas at Austin.
