Martin Andersen

Martin Andersen's work experience includes various roles in multiple companies. Martin started their career as a Software Developer at NetMester A/S in 2001 and later became a Senior Systems Developer at ScioSphere in 2004. At ScioSphere, they were involved in product development, system maintenance, and customer support.

In 2009, Martin joined Zmags as a Software Engineer and Team Lead, where they worked on digital publishing platforms and managed agile processes. Martin left Zmags in 2012 and then worked as a Team Lead at Trustpilot, managing product development teams and coordinating with directors and product management.

In 2014, Martin became the Head of Engineering Projects at Trustpilot, responsible for managing projects and providing technical guidance. Martin later served as the Director of Engineering and VP of Engineering, overseeing technical delivery, architecture, and product development processes across different products.

In 2020, Martin joined Veo Technologies as the Head of Systems and later became the Head of Cloud Engineering. In these roles, they built and led engineering teams, handled processing pipelines, and worked on scaling up Veo's technical capabilities.

Martin also worked as an Assistant Teacher at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet in 2003, where they assisted students in a networking technologies course. Martin also volunteered at Coding Pirates in 2019, organizing coding classes for children.

Currently, Martin is the Head of Engineering at BLAST, starting in 2022.

Martin Andersen obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer Science from DTU - Technical University of Denmark. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including "M101P: MongoDB for Developers" and "M102: MongoDB for DBAs" from MongoDB in January 2014, and the "Certified ScrumMaster" certification from Scrum Alliance in October 2012.
