Jwalanta Shrestha

Jwalanta Shrestha has extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Consultant for the Department of Education, specializing in programming and database administration. In 2009, Jwalanta became the Chief Technology Officer at Diyaalo Technologies until 2012. During this time, they also served as a Research Associate at Open Technologies Resource Center. In 2012, Jwalanta joined the United Nations as a Web Developer and later worked as a Programmer at the Emerging Technology Center, ETSU. In 2014, they joined Shutterfly, Inc. as a Staff Engineer and remained in this role until 2020. Most recently, Jwalanta has been employed at Phil, Inc. Their roles at Phil, Inc. include Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, Data and Infrastructure, and currently, Director of Engineering, Data and Infrastructure.

Jwalanta Shrestha completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus in 2008. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Jwalanta pursued and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from East Tennessee State University.
