Jose Belarmino

Jose Belarmino, MBA, possesses extensive experience in quality assurance and software engineering within the medical device and telecommunications industries. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for Software at Philips since January 2017, Jose is also involved in business development at BlastAsia, Inc. since January 2013. Previous roles include consultancy in medical device software development at Avedro, Inc., and software consulting at Thoratec, where expertise in FDA regulated quality and integration engineering was applied. Earlier career highlights include positions as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Zoll Medical Systems and a Senior Software Quality Engineer at Draeger. Jose holds an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, as well as advanced degrees in DSP/Communication and Computer Engineering from the University of the Philippines and University of Iowa, respectively.
