Tamara Nunez

Tamara Nunez began their work experience in 2010 as a Jr. IT & InfoSec analyst at Walmart. In this role, they assisted senior analysts with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and monitoring SIEM logs for security incidents. Tamara also collaborated with the security team to implement and document security policies and procedures. From 2013 to 2016, Tamara worked as an Information Security & Incident Response Analyst at Workday, where they conducted vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and security assessments. Tamara utilized tools such as Splunk, McAfee EPO, and EnCase to detect and resolve cyber-attacks, as well as incident response tools like SolarWinds Orion, AlienVault USM, and IBM QRadar for detection and mitigation. In 2016, Tamara joined Deloitte as a Cybersecurity Analyst, where they focused on analyzing threats, conducting risk controls, and supporting incident and alert investigations. Additionally, they provided pen testing support in Azure and Linux environments. Currently, Tamara is working at Radiant Security as a Security Operations Solution Engineer, leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms and AI to automate security operations.

Tamara Nunez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Sciences & Technology from Penn State University from 2008 to 2011. Tamara also holds a certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from the ISC2 Los Angeles Chapter, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
