Dean Harel

Dean Harel currently serves as the VP of Software Engineering at BlazePod since December 2023. Prior to this role, Dean was the Full Stack Engineering Team Lead at Torii from October 2022 to September 2023 and held the position of Mobile Group Lead for iOS at Healthy.io from February 2020 to September 2022. Dean's experience also includes being the Engineering Team Lead and iOS Developer at Vimeo from May 2019 to February 2020 and at Magisto from October 2013 to May 2019, where Dean led teams in developing flagship applications and maintained hands-on involvement in engineering tasks. Dean's technical expertise spans several programming languages and tools, including Swift, Objective-C, C++, and Python. Dean holds an M.A. in Philosophy from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University, with additional education from The Open University of Israel.
