Katelyn Kelsey

Katelyn Kelsey, M.A.E, M.Ed., BCISE is an experienced educational professional currently serving as a Special Education Advisor for BlazerWorks since December 2022, where responsibilities include supporting schools in improving outcomes for students with disabilities. Concurrently, Kelsey holds the position of Teacher Leader at the Tucson Regional Educator Collaborative, mentoring teachers to address workforce shortages. Additional roles include Graduate Teaching Associate at the University of Arizona and a prior position as Special Education Teacher, Team Lead at Legacy Traditional Schools. Kelsey has a diverse background that includes teaching in Title 1 schools, advocating for special needs students, and working in various educational support roles. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Policy at the University of Arizona, Kelsey also holds multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education.
