Rembrand van Lakwijk is a co-founder and director of technology at Blik Sensing, a Dutch startup focused on innovative telemetry for smart water management since January 2017. Prior experience includes serving as an embedded software engineer at Nedap Retail, where research and development centered on RFID solutions for Electronic Article Surveillance and Stock Management from August 2012 to January 2021. Additional roles include research on RFID localization as a graduate, an internship at Thales Nederland involving the design of a communication API for DSPs, web application development at Better.be, and software development at B-ware Business Software. Rembrand van Lakwijk earned a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Embedded Systems from the University of Twente and studied at Radboud University prior.
