Jo Lawson

Jo Lawson has extensive experience in health and social care management, currently serving as Health and Wellbeing Service Manager and Community Team Leader at Blind Veterans UK since February 2017. Previously, Jo held the position of Independent Living Manager at RNIB from January 2012 to January 2017, where responsibilities included managing a range of independent living services. Prior roles included Service Manager for Extra Care Housing at Linc Cymru, Regional Manager for a domiciliary care agency at Opportunity Housing Trust, and various positions at Newport City Council overseeing support services for the homeless. Jo began a career at Bromford Group as Area Service Manager for mental health and acquired brain injury services. Educational qualifications include a Level 4 NVQ in Management, a Diploma in Management Level 5, and a BA Hons in Social Sciences from Liverpool John Moores University.
