Liang Zhou

Liang Zhou has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Liang started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at The Tarena Tech, Inc. in 2008, where they gained extensive knowledge in Java and web development. Liang then joined Asiainfo in 2009 as a Software Engineer, working on a BI tool for China Mobile. Liang Zhou contributed to the development of reporting tools and implemented key frontend functionality and core Java services.

In 2011, Liang Zhou joined Micros Retail Systems as a Software Engineer in the R&D team. Liang worked on projects such as XStore POS, where they fixed bugs and implemented new features, and Xcenter Admin, a web interface for managing running Xstore suites.

In 2013, Liang Zhou joined Nike as a Software Engineer in the Search team. Liang played a key role in projects such as the Search Services rewrite, where they redesigned and implemented RESTful services using Spring MVC. Liang also mentored junior team members and performed code reviews.

From 2014 to 2016, Liang Zhou worked as a software consultant at emids, where they contributed to the rewrite of frontend and API layers for the Availity project. Liang used technologies such as ASP.NET Web API, C#, and Angular.

In 2016, Liang Zhou joined SitePen as a Software Engineer, working as a consultant to help customers build enterprise web apps. Liang also made contributions to company-sponsored open source libraries.

Since 2017, Liang Zhou has been working at ProviderTrust as a Software Engineer, specializing in modernizing frontends and converting legacy monolithic apps into Cloud Native Microservices. Liang also builds tools to facilitate developer productivity.

Most recently, in 2022, Liang Zhou joined Blip as a Software Engineer, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software development.

Liang Zhou completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Maharishi International University. This education took place from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Liang Zhou obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from Shaanxi University of Science and Technology in the year 2008. It is not specified what field of study Liang Zhou pursued during their bachelor's degree. In addition to these degrees, Liang Zhou also obtained a certification as a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SJCP) from Sun Microsystems in May 2009, scoring 98% out of 100%.
