Laura Baloun has a diverse work experience in consumer research and insights. Laura started their career as an Independent Business and Consumer Insights Contractor for Kellogg/Keebler in 2001, where they supported the Wholesome Snacks Brand Marketing team and managed research for the Cereal/Snack Bar and New Product brand teams. Laura then transitioned to a similar role at ConAgra Foods in 2004, where they supported the Refrigerated Foods Marketing Research team and worked on research requests for multiple brands.
In 2005, Laura joined Millward Brown, Inc as an Independent Business and Consumer Insights Contractor. Laura continued to provide insights and research services to various clients until 2006. Laura then worked as an Independent Consumer and Business Insights Contractor for Sara Lee F&B in 2006, where they supported the Sara Lee Deli and Bakery team and assisted with research requests.
Laura's career progression led their to Walgreens in 2010, where they worked as the Senior Manager of Consumer Research. Laura was responsible for leading consumer research initiatives until 2013. Laura then joined U.S. Cellular as the Manager of Consumer Insights, where they worked from 2013 to 2015.
Currently, Laura is employed at Blistex Inc., where they have held various senior management roles. Laura started as the U.S. Consumer Research Manager in 2015, then became the Senior Manager of Consumer Research from 2019 to the present. In May 2021, they were promoted to the role of Senior Manager of Insights, where they continue to leverage their expertise in consumer insights and research.
Laura Baloun has a Master of Science degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University. Laura also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing from Butler University.
