Rick Curry, SPHR

Rick Curry, SPHR has over 20 years of experience in human resources and organizational development. Rick currently serves as the Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development at Blistex Inc., where they lead the HR management function and provides strategic programs for company locations in the US and Canada. Prior to their current role, Rick held various senior HR positions, including Vice President of Global Human Resources at Lia Sophia (Act II Jewelry, LLC), Director of Global Human Resources at Lia Sophia, and Director of Human Resources at NICOR Energy Services. Rick also served as the President of the Valley Human Resources Association and was a Director of HR at Alexander Lumber Co. Rick has a strong background in international HR, with experience in staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, HRIS, and training & development. Rick is experienced in developing HR policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing guidance and assistance to the organization's human assets. Rick has also taught as an Instructor at Aurora University, where they developed and instructed a course in Human Resources Management System Selection and Implementation.

Rick Curry, SPHR holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from DePaul University. Rick also completed college prep coursework and earned a high school diploma from Mendel Catholic Prep HS. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of West Florida.
