Anya Kotova

Anya Kotova serves as the Senior Director and Head of the Arts and Culture Practice at BLJ Worldwide, where oversight of the strategic direction for the international reputation management of the Years of Culture initiative is a primary responsibility. Anya has a strong background in health communications, evidenced by a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University and significant experience at Sidra Medicine in Doha, Qatar. Previous roles include Associate Director at Teneo and Senior Account Director at Ketchum, with achievements such as receiving the Consultant of the Year Award and contributing to multiple award-winning communications projects. Anya also led strategic initiatives as Chapter President for the Public Relations Student Society of America and held internship positions early in the career. Educational credentials include a BA in Public Relations and Sociology from Syracuse University and additional coursework in economics from New York University.
