Dr Shafiq Ahmed

Dr. Shafiq Ahmed is a highly experienced urologist and renal transplant specialist currently serving as the Director of Urology, Robotic Uro-oncology, Andrology, and Renal Transplant at BLK - Max Super Speciality Hospital since May 2023. Previously, Dr. Ahmed held the position of Director and Senior Consultant in Urology, Robotic Surgery, and Kidney Transplant at Narayana Health from July 2022 to April 2023. Dr. Ahmed's extensive career includes roles as Consultant and Unit Head in Urology & Renal Transplant at Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt. Ltd (June 2018 - July 2022), and various positions at Fortis Healthcare from 2013 to 2018, as well as significant experience at the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, CMC Medical College & Hospital, and Sheri-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences. Dr. Ahmed completed advanced training in robotic surgery and holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Kashmir.
