Hotag Chung

Hotag Chung, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the cryptocurrency and investment sectors. Currently serving as the CEO of AlphaBrains, Inc. since July 2019, Hotag Chung focuses on designing tokenomics and managing trading strategies. Previously, Hotag operated as a Token Economist and DeFi Strategist at Block Crafters Co., Ltd., where responsibilities included creating a token economy and developing various DeFi services. Prior roles encompass significant positions such as Head of Quant at Streami Inc., where quantitative models and trading strategies were developed for a leading Korean exchange, and Robo Fund Manager at Assetplus Investment Management, overseeing multiple robo equity funds. Hotag's career also includes trading, portfolio management, and analysis roles across several investment firms, coupled with a background as an English Interpretation Officer in the Republic of Korea Air Force. Hotag Chung holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
