Erika Athens

Erika Athens is currently a Product Counsel at Block, having previously served as a Product Counsel and Strategic Partnering and Commercial Transactions Attorney at Gunderson Dettmer. With a background that includes roles at Square as a Disputes Resolution Specialist and Program Manager focused on Payments Risk, Erika has extensive experience in legal and commercial matters. Additionally, Erika has worked as a Legal Associate at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and completed a summer associate position at Salesforce. Erika holds a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Tulane University and is pursuing a law degree at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where they received the Dean's Scholarship.
