Kristen Mangum

Kristen Mangum is a seasoned industrial designer with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various companies. Currently serving as the Head of Industrial Design at Block since September 2022, Kristen previously held multiple roles at Google from October 2013 to September 2022, including Staff Industrial Designer, Senior Industrial Designer, and Industrial Designer. Prior to Google, Kristen worked as an Industrial Designer at Bould Design from December 2010 to September 2013, demonstrating strong project leadership and multitasking skills. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Designer at Speck Products in 2010, where trend forecasting and textile creation were key responsibilities, and an international co-op at Dot Kite Design in 2009, focusing on packaging and accessories design. Kristen holds a B.S. in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati and studied at Bergische Universität Wuppertal.
