Mark DiGaetani is an accomplished compliance professional with extensive experience in anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime compliance across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Head of Compliance Partnerships at Block since August 2025, DiGaetani previously held significant roles, including BSA/AML Officer at SoFi, where oversight of bank operations and the creation of AML compliance programs resulted in substantial efficiency improvements. At Brex, DiGaetani led the enhancement of financial crime programs to meet regulatory standards and implemented a new AML transaction monitoring platform. While at USAA, initiatives strengthened enterprise compliance, and at CIT, DiGaetani developed critical algorithms for customer watch list management. Early career experiences included roles as Compliance Officer at Deutsche Bank and Special Agent for the FBI, where DiGaetani engaged in high-stakes investigations and surveillance. DiGaetani holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of North Florida and training from the FBI Academy in Quantico.
