Ryan Sproule

Ryan is a Research Engineer and a member of the Investment Team at Blockchain Capital. Ryan leads the engineering effort for Blockchain Capital by working closely with portfolio companies’ development teams and working on projects at the forefront of blockchain technology.

At Blockchain Capital, Ryan leverages his experience working in distributed systems and software development to experiment with new blockchain technologies as well as lend guidance or support to portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Blockchain Capital, Ryan worked as a software engineer at Amazon Web Services where he worked on a distributed execution engine for an in-house automation platform. Before joining AWS, Ryan was building in the blockchain space as a hobby where he built several MEV-related bots, on-chain games, and a variety of tools for investment insight.

Ryan earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
