Andrew Klein has a diverse work experience. Andrew started their career as a Process Flowsheet Engineer at URS Corporation, where they worked for 5 ½ years on the validation of a $12 billion nuclear waste treatment plant. Andrew was responsible for design review and model implementation of various systems. After that, they worked as an Evaporation and Distillation Products Specialist at Buchi Corporation, where they supported the sales team. Andrew later founded their own engineering consulting firm, A S KLEIN ENGINEERING, PLLC, where they worked as a Consulting Engineer. Andrew also became a Partner at Klein Griffith Properties Group. Currently, they hold the position of Director at BlockChyp.

Andrew Klein has a Master's degree in Engineering & Technology Management from Washington State University. Andrew also has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware. In addition to their degrees, Andrew has obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Building Plans Examiner and Certified Commercial Building Inspector from the International Code Council, as well as being a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers. Andrew is also certified in other areas such as fire plans examination, energy inspection, and green building residential examination. Furthermore, Andrew is a Licensed Professional Chemical Engineer and Licensed Professional Fire Protection Engineer in the state of Washington.
