Axel U. J. Lode

Dr. Axel U. J. Lode has a diverse work background, starting in 2013 as a Postdoktoraler Mitarbeiter at Universität Basel. Dr. Axel U. J. then moved to Universität Wien in 2017, where they held the position of Principal Researcher until 2019. In 2019, they became a Research Group Leader at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, a role they held until 2021. During this time, they developed expertise in AI methods while researching theoretical quantum physics as a principal investigator. Their next position was at LEHNER INVESTMENTS, where they worked as an AI Researcher on methods for automated investment decisions. Dr. Lode's most recent role is at Blocksize Capital GmbH, where they first served as a Lead Quantitative Developer from 2022 to 2023, and is currently the Head of Decentralized Finance and Node Operations from 2023 onwards.

Dr. Axel U. J. Lode completed their education at Heidelberg University, where they pursued a Ph.D. in Atomic/Molecular Physics from 2009 to 2013.
