Chief Product Officer at BlockSpaces

Chris Tyler has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 1991. Starting at AT&T as a Sr. Technical Staff Member, they then moved to Foxfire Consulting as Director of Technical Architecture in 2000. In 2001, they joined FatWire / divine / Open Market as a Sr. SE / Technical Product Specialist, and then moved to Stellent, Inc. as a Sr. Systems Engineer in 2004. In 2018, they began working as a Technology Advisor for BlockSpaces. In 2019, they joined regestra as a Technology Advisor and in 2021, they were appointed Chief Product Officer at BlockSpaces. During this time, they also served as a board member for the ALS NEVERSURRENDER FOUNDATION from 2015 to 2021, where they were responsible for collecting, aggregating, analyzing, and reporting data collected by the ALS iNVOLVE and ALS eNGAGE applications during clinical trials. In addition, they were an Embedded Solutions Evangelist for IBM from 2005 to 2018, where they were a trusted advisor to software companies and startups and a public speaker at events evangelizing the adoption of blockchain, IoT and analytics. Finally, they founded CanyonMan Outdoors in 2006, an organization dedicated to providing information and resources to families who desire to get their children into the outdoors.

Chris Tyler attended Grapevine High School from 1983 to 1986 and then Texas Tech University from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a BBA in MIS.
