Valerie Shoates

Valerie Shoates is an Enterprise Development Associate at BlocPower. Prior to joining BlocPower, Valerie worked as an Analyst at Plum Alley Investments, a venture firm investing in early stage, high growth technology and healthcare companies led by female founders in STEM fields. Valerie also interned at Howard University as part of the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program, a U.S. Department of State program preparing young people for careers in international service.

Valerie Shoates has a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of St Andrews, and a High School Diploma from The Brearley School.
