Denise Burke

Denise Burke is an experienced laboratory professional with a diverse background in medical technology and supervision. Currently serving as the Laboratory Supervisor at Blood Assurance since June 2022, Denise previously held the position of Lab Section Chief for the Blood Bank at Parkridge Health System from July 2018 to May 2022. Denise's extensive experience at Blood Assurance dates back to February 2005, where roles included Compliance and Regulatory Manager, Training & Support Systems Coordinator, and Medical Technologist. Earlier in Denise's career, positions as a Chemist at GlaxoSmithKline and as a Medical Technologist at Holston Valley Hospital & Medical Center/Medex provided foundational skills. Denise earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from East Tennessee State University between 1989 and 1993.
