Head of Engineering Delivery at Bloodhound LSR

Frantz D. Nehammer CEng MSc MAPM has worked in various engineering and project management roles since 2001. Frantz D. is currently the Head of Engineering Delivery at Bloodhound LSR, responsible for managing the design and build teams, and overseeing the development of the car for High Speed Trials and Land Speed Record configurations. Prior to this, they worked at mvdot ltd. as a Company Director, providing engineering and project management consultancy to clients in space technology development, hypersonic propulsion, jet propulsion, and personal development. Frantz D. also worked at BLOODHOUND SSC, where they led the engineering and project management functions for design and build teams, and contributed to the development of the car to its first dynamic trials. Frantz D.'sexpertise focused on setting system requirements, planning, resourcing, budgeting, financial control, procurement, manufacturing supply chain, and quality assurance. Additionally, they worked as an Expedition Project Manager at Raleigh International, responsible for providing practical UK engineering expertise to ongoing expeditions. Frantz D. also worked in various roles for the UK Ministry of Defence, including PAAMS(S) System Focal Point, Equipment Programme Manager, Aircraft Integration & Service Evaluation Trials Desk Officer, and Graduate Engineer.

Frantz D. Nehammer CEng MSc MAPM completed their Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol in 2000. In 2011, they earned a Master of Science degree in Guided Weapon Systems from Cranfield University. In 2012, they obtained the Engineer certification from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and in 2014, they obtained MSP® Certification from APMG International. In 2010, they also became an Associated Professional Member (APM) from the Association for Project Management.
