Milton Roach

Milton Roach has a diverse work experience in the aviation and engineering fields. Milton started their career in 1999 as a Technical Systems Field Support Specialist at Computacentre UK, where they provided technical support for various clients. In 2000, they joined IBM Global Process Services as a Senior Systems Engineer, a role they held until 2005.

In 2000, Roach also began working part-time as an Aircraft Mechanical and Electrical Engineer for the Anglo American Lightning Organization. Milton continued this part-time role until the present.

Roach joined the Gatwick Aviation Engineering Team in 2000 as a Senior Aircraft Electro Mechanical Systems Engineer, specializing in fast jet and piston-engined aircraft. Milton worked part-time in this role while accumulating over 100,000 hours of experience in servicing, overhaul, and restoration of vintage aircraft, as well as the maintenance and design of aircraft electrical and avionic systems.

In 2013, Roach became an Aero Engine Maintenance Engineer at VINCI Technology Centre UK Ltd, working as a part-time contractor.

Starting from 2014, Roach worked as an Aircraft Engineer at Weald Aviation Services Ltd, where they performed maintenance and overhaul on warbirds and ex-military aircraft.

In 2015, Roach joined Bloodhound LSR as a Systems Engineer and Lead Electrical and Avionic Integration Engineer. Milton held this position until the present.

Roach's most recent full-time role was as an Electrical Systems Technician at Williams Martini F1 Advanced Engineering in 2016, where they were responsible for the manufacture, testing, and support of electrical, wiring, and control systems for road and race cars.

Since 2021, Roach has been working as an Initial Airworthiness Design and Certification Engineer/Surveyor at the Civil Aviation Authority.

Milton Roach started their education journey in 1993, enrolling at Kingston University for a degree in HND Aerospace Engineering. Milton completed this program in 1995. Following their interest in geology, Roach pursued a Bsc Hons Eng Geology at the same university, starting in 1995 and finishing in 1998. Throughout their educational experience, they focused on fields such as Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, as well as Geology.
