Paul Samuel has a strong background in education, with significant experience in various leadership roles. Paul most recently served as a School Principal at Bloom Education since 2021. Prior to that, they were a School Principal at West End Primary School from 2019 to 2021, and at Sir John A Cumber Primary School from 2016 to 2019. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Head Teacher at St James Primary School from 2012 to 2016 and Head Teacher at Cwm Ifor Primary School from 2007 to 2011. Paul also worked as a Deputy Head Teacher at Upper Rhymney Primary School from 2000 to 2007 and as a Teacher at Lansbury Park Junior School from 1995 to 2000. Paul Samuel completed their education at the University of Wales, Cardiff. From 1991 to 1995, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Education, earning a 2:1 (Hons) degree in Education (QTS). Later, from 2001 to 2003, they obtained a degree in Education Leadership, NPQH, from the same university. Additionally, in 2021, Paul obtained certifications in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging and Mentoring Others from LinkedIn.
