Katherine Sánchez Valencia

Katherine Sánchez Valencia currently serves as Engineering Project Lead at Bloom Energy since May 2022. Previously, from January 2018 to December 2019, Katherine held the position of Project Manager at H&V Engineers and Associates, where responsibilities included overseeing photovoltaic energy project operations and executing community lighting initiatives in San Vicente del Caguán. Katherine has experience as a Data Analyst at DANE Colombia in 2015, collaborating with manufacturing companies, and as a Mathematics and Physics Teacher at the Department of Education of Manizales from February to December 2014, where academic visits were organized to encourage higher education enrollment among students. Additionally, Katherine worked as a Production Engineer at Gef Colombia textile company in 2012, achieving significant reductions in supply loss and optimizing production processes. Katherine holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
