Mike Gasda has extensive experience in the field of fuel cell technology. Mike started their career at Plug Power in 2000, where they held various positions including Project Engineer and Team Leader. During their time at Plug Power, they co-invented and implemented advanced fuel cell and system concepts. Mike then worked as a Consulting Engineer at H2Pump LLC from 2006 to 2009, where they focused on H2 purification cell and stack design. Since 2009, Gasda has been working at Bloom Energy as the Director of Stack Engineering, overseeing product engineering and the development of solid oxide fuel cell and electrolyzer stack platforms. Mike has successfully recruited and developed a talented team of materials engineers and senior leaders at Bloom Energy.
Mike Gasda received their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Philosophy from Denison University from 1996 to 2000. From 2006 to 2009, they pursued their PhD in Materials Science & Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
