Natalie Brooks

Natalie Brooks is an accomplished professional in the nursing and academic fields, currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University since May 2019. In addition, Natalie works as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Bloom Health Centers, also beginning in May 2019. Previously, Natalie held the position of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner at Inova Fairfax Hospital from August 2016 to November 2020 and at DC Forensic Nurse Examiners from April 2014 to May 2018. Furthermore, Natalie served as an Expert Consultant for TeleSANE at Penn State University from May 2019 to March 2020. Educationally, Natalie holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from George Mason University, a certification from Duquesne University in Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) for adults and adolescents, training in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Shenandoah University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island.
