Sampoorna Hegde

Sampoorna Hegde has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Sampoorna is currently the Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at Bloom Value Corporation since November 2020. Prior to this, Sampoorna worked at IBM India Pvt Limited from January 2010 to November 2020, where they held the position of Executive Program Manager and Master Data Scientist. Before that, they worked at Microsoft for several years in different divisions, including Microsoft India (R&D), Microsoft GTSC, and Microsoft India (R&D) Pvt Ltd, where they served as a Team Manager from 2003 to 2009. Additionally, Sampoorna has worked as a Project Manager at Starmark Services Pvt. Ltd. from 2001 to 2003, and at Netkraft from 1999 to 2001.

Sampoorna Hegde pursued an Executive PGDM in Business Analytics from IFIM Business School from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University, studying from 1998 to 2010.

In addition to their educational accomplishments, Sampoorna Hegde has obtained various certifications. Sampoorna achieved IBM Profession Champion 2020 certification from IBM in September 2020. In July 2020, they obtained certifications such as IBM Recognized Speaker/Presenter and IBM Virtual Collaborator. In December 2019, they obtained the IBM Quantum Conversations certification and filed their first patent with IBM. In October 2019, they achieved the Data Science Profession Certification - Level 2 Expert and the IBM AI Skills Academy Machine Learning Explorer certification. Additionally, they have received the Professional Certification: Level 2 - Master Certified Data Scientist from The Open Group in October 2019. Sampoorna Hegde has also obtained several other certifications related to data science projects, project management, auditing, and specific technical skills.
