Armando Rocha

Armando Rocha began their career in 2010 as a Developer at UBLA Financeira. Armando then worked as a Tester and .NET Developer at SergipeTec, where they built custom workflow solutions for the Brazilian Government. In 2015, Armando joined Ubla as a Software Developer, where they developed web applications and integrated multiple systems using the Mule ESB.

In 2016, Armando joined Emergent Research Ltd as a Software Developer, focusing on building high quality software for Pharmacies and Doctors. Armando worked on projects including a decision tree building application.

From 2017 to 2022, Armando worked at Jungle Scout, starting as a Software Engineer and gradually progressing to Team Lead and Tech Lead positions. Armando led teams and initiatives focused on improving features for sellers and non-sellers, while prioritizing data privacy and customer trust.

Armando's most recent role, starting in 2023, is as a Software Engineering Manager at Bloom & Wild, where they are responsible for leading engineering teams and shaping roadmaps. Armando has experience with technologies such as React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, and AWS.

Armando Rocha completed their undergraduate education at Instituto Federal de Sergipe from 2011 to 2017, obtaining a degree in Information Systems. Additionally, they attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2014 and 2015, where they pursued studies in Computer Science.
