Kevin Bahadoor

Kevin Bahadoor has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Kevin started their career as a Junior Flash Developer at Eidos Interactive Limited in 2008. Kevin then worked at blinkbox as a Development Engineer, where they were responsible for video delivery and later as a Senior Development Engineer, working on native mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.

In 2015, Kevin joined TalkTalk as a Senior Development Engineer Lead, specializing in Android development. Kevin then moved on to Capital One as a Software Engineering Manager, where they played a vital role in building and expanding their London tech hub, leading a team of 14 engineers and QA professionals focused on mobile development.

Kevin's next role was at Laundrapp as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, where they reported directly to the CTO and was accountable for the entire development team. Kevin was responsible for maturing the engineering group and oversaw the recruitment process for the technology group.

Currently, Kevin is working at Bloom & Wild as the Director of Engineering (Ecommerce) and Head of Engineering for Apps. Kevin is responsible for leading the engineering team and ensuring the successful development and delivery of ecommerce and app-related projects.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated expertise in various technologies, including Java, Objective-C, and Flash. Kevin has experience in architecting and delivering high-quality applications and working closely with design, UX, and product stakeholders.

Kevin Bahadoor completed their education in various institutions. From 2002 to 2005, they studied at the University of the West of England, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors, achieving a 2:1 classification. During this time, their field of study was Psychology. Later, from 2006 to 2007, they attended Nottingham Trent University and pursued a Master of Science degree in Multimedia Engineering, in which they excelled and graduated with distinction.
