Anna Yukhananov has a diverse work experience in journalism and writing. Anna is currently working as a News Team Leader at Bloomberg Government since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Team Leader at Bloomberg Law from 2019 to 2021, where they managed reporters on the environment desk and played a significant role in shaping coverage and setting strategies for the team.
Before joining Bloomberg Law, Anna worked at Morning Consult from 2017 to 2018, holding the positions of Executive Editor and Policy Editor. As an independent reporter in 2016, they worked as a Freelance Writer in Mexico City, focusing on telling human stories of people struggling in the informal economy and writing about families separated by migration. Anna also worked for CNN International and the Thomson Reuters Foundation as a fixer and translator.
Anna's previous experience includes working at Thomson Reuters from 2010 to 2016, covering general and economic news in Mexico and Central America, as well as focusing on financial sanctions, international economics, and development in Washington. Anna also worked as a Correspondent and gained expertise in editing and translating stories. Additionally, they have worked as a Contributing Writer for The Jersey Journal in 2010 and as a Freelance Writer for Armenian Mirror-Spectator in 2009.
In 2009, Anna worked at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as the NASA Academy Operations Manager. Throughout their career, Anna has displayed strong skills in journalism, reporting, editing, and translating, and has covered diverse topics ranging from environmental issues to international economics and politics.
Anna Yukhananov has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Writing Seminars from The Johns Hopkins University. Anna also holds a Master's degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), specializing in International Relations, International Economics, and Middle East Studies.
