Samuel M. has a diverse range of work experience. Samuel currently works as a Research Analyst at Bloomberg Government, where they are responsible for recording and categorizing various data sources related to congressional committees, legislation, and federal agency meetings. Prior to this, Samuel worked at the FDA as a Management Analyst, supporting the Compounding Quality Act and handling correspondence with stakeholders. Samuel also held the role of Student Trainee (Pathways Internship) at the FDA, where they helped establish a policy memorandum database. Samuel has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Program Assistant at American University, where they assisted professors, communicated with students and faculty, and organized events. Samuel also gained experience as a Graduate Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives, handling constituent inquiries and assisting with legislative tasks. Additionally, Samuel served as an Internship Coordinator at A Climate to Thrive, managing a summer internship program and engaging in outreach efforts on climate change. Samuel also worked as an Undergraduate Intern at the same organization, focusing on sustainability initiatives. In earlier roles, Samuel worked as a Receptionist at Smuggler's Den Campground, handling customer interactions and managing reservations, and as an Intern and Co-Op Associate at The Jackson Laboratory, where they conducted research projects and presented findings. Lastly, Samuel worked in retail sales at Bar Harbor Bicycle Shop.

Samuel M. began their education at Mount Desert Island High School from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & History at Wheaton College Massachusetts from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are attending American University from 2020 to 2022, working towards a Master of Arts degree in Political Science.
