Selomé Welday

Selomé Welday is a seasoned professional in product design and entrepreneurship, currently serving as Product Design Manager and previously as Senior Product Designer at Bloomberg Industry Group since March 2021. Selomé is also the Founder, Designer, and Mentor at OppSquare, a design services company focused on scaling junior designers through mentorship and career development opportunities. Additional experience includes advisory roles at Evangadi Tech and a Senior Product Designer position at Fannie Mae, along with foundational work in UX design and web consulting across various companies. Selomé's entrepreneurial spirit is highlighted by the founding of a food delivery service, where management encompassed business planning and securing partnerships with numerous regional restaurants. An educational background in Graphic Design and Photography culminated in a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Barry University.
