David Kang is currently the Head of Japan and Korea Research at BloombergNEF, managing the research team focused on global commodity markets and low-carbon technologies. David previously held various roles at BloombergNEF, including Analyst and Senior Associate, and also worked as a Technical Consultant at the World Bank Group and a Consultant at the Green Climate Fund. David earned a Master of Science in Business, Public Policy, and Green Business from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, graduating with summa cum laude honors. Prior to this, David received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
