Cynthia Mcdaniel

VP, Finance & Administration at Bloomfield College

As Interim Vice President of Finance and Administration, Cindy McDaniel is responsible for the stewardship and effective deployment of the College's resources. Responsibilities include assembling BC’s collegewide budget, preparing its published financial statements and tax filings, advising senior leadership on endowment support for operations and other key financial dynamics, managing liquidity and working capital. She oversees human resources, payroll, accounts payable, student financial services, accounting and mailroom services.

She acts as the primary financial advisor to the President and senior staff within the campus community, and to the Board of Trustees. She coordinates and supports the work of the Board of Trustees Audit, Finance, and Investment Committees.

She has been with the College since 1990. Prior to assuming the Interim VPFA role, she worked in several areas of the College including all financial areas, Office of Enterprise Information Services, Office of Institutional Advancement and Office of International Education.

Cindy is dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations and implementing internal controls through immediate and long-term participatory governance. She is a self-motivated leader, and is skilled in building collaborative relationships and creating substantive experiences while remaining focused on bottom-line results. She earned her B.S. in Accounting from Bloomfield College in 1993 and earned her MBA from Thomas Edison State University in 2022.
