R. Corey Almas

R. Corey Almas, P.E. has a diverse work experience in engineering and public services. R. Corey is currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Environmental Services at Bloomfield Township since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at the City of Madison Heights in various roles including Director of Public Services, Deputy Director of Public Services, Streets & Facilities Supervisor, and Streets & Facilities Coordinator. R. Corey has also worked as a Civil Engineer at Nowak & Fraus Engineers from 1998 to 2012. Additionally, they briefly served as an Adjunct Professor at ITT Technical Institute in 2009.

R. Corey Almas, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University in the years 1996 to 2004. Prior to this, they pursued Construction Management at Ferris State University from 1994 to 1995.
