Damien Merenne has worked in the software engineering field for over 20 years. Damien started their career in 2000 as a Product Developer at ytCompany, where they designed and integrated a retail trade management software based on Java/Tomcat and XML technologies. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Ruby On Rails/Linux Consultant at Cosinux and an IT Researcher at the Belgian Building Research Institute. In 2008, they joined Soft At Home as a Software Engineer, where they developed embedded software for home gateways. In 2013, they worked as an Embedded Linux Engineer at Duma Engineering Group, where they developed a Yocto based Linux distribution and automation software in C. Damien then moved on to DSA Daten- und Systemtechnik GmbH as a Software Engineer. Since 2014, they have been working as a Software Engineer at Veygo, where they implemented an Android/iOS C++ support library using Djinni and a Ruby On Rails Web application. Damien is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomlife Inc.
Damien Merenne received a Master in Information Technology from the University of Liège between 1997 and 2003.
