Chirayu Samarth

Chirayu Samarth has a diverse work experience starting in 2014. From February to October 2014, they worked as a Technology Blogger Intern at CrazyEngineers Technologies Pvt Ltd. Following this, from August 2015 to June 2016, they worked as a Software Developer at AMDOCS Development Centre India Pvt. Ltd. Subsequently, in June to August 2017, they served as a Software Engineering Intern at BottlesTonight, gaining experience in Ruby and Rails development. In August to December 2017, Chirayu worked as a Teaching Assistant for ITP 109 (Introduction to JAVA Programming) at the University of Southern California. Since June 2018, Chirayu has been employed at Bloomreach, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to Software Engineer II. In this role, they developed and implemented a segment-based personalization algorithm and worked on a merchandising feature. From April 2021 to March 2023, they served as a Senior Software Engineer, leading and designing a feature called "Dynamic Grouping" that improved product discoverability. Currently, Chirayu holds the position of Staff Software Engineer at Bloomreach.

Chirayu Samarth's education history begins with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management. This degree was obtained between 2011 and 2015.

Following that, Chirayu pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. This degree was completed from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Chirayu has also acquired two additional certifications. These include the "Technical Excellence Award" from Bloomreach, obtained in July 2021, and the "Ruby on Rails 5 Essential Training" certification from Lynda.com, obtained in June 2017.
